ABOUT US

GLOBAL is a nonpartisan brain trust of nationally recognized economists and financial analysts from academia, government and industry whose aim is to facilitate understanding the underlying implications of linking the U.S. dollar’s value to the price of oil.

We believe the dollar’s downward trajectory has led the U.S. to pursue, as a core issue of foreign policy, its "war on terror", primarily targeting countries who would threaten the greenbacks’ domination as the reserve currency for international commerce. This is exemplified by the invasion of Iraq, resulting in an overwhelming avalanche of dire events, the current "trigger finger" diplomacy with Iran and the unabated verbal sparing match with Venezuela's Hugo Chavez.

GLOBAL does not aim to instill fear, but rather to help concerned citizens face challenging realities. Visitors are invited to read selections from our linked "Editor’s Choice" column for further observations and solutions to the potential crisis the Dollar/Oil/Terror linkage presents to world security.

Members are encouraged to take an active role in reporting results of currency research by means of lectures, articles, media interviews, and informal meetings with decision makers. Our goal is to provide sound, practical perspectives on currency issues and to disseminate developments not yet in the public eye.

GLOBAL members have concluded that research and rigorous analysis of evidence demonstrates the U.S. Government has not been forthcoming with regard to what happened in New York and Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2001. A segment of our membership believes the government not only permitted 9/11 to occur but may have orchestrated these events to facilitate its political agenda.
